How far along: 12 weeks! (I can't believe it's 12 weeks!!)
Size of the baby: A plum
Total weight gain/loss: -8 pounds. I'm happy with that. I haven't lost any additional weight for the past 3 weeks. I'm not worried about not gaining, because in the first trimester it's common not to gain weight. Plus, I know the weight will come soon enough!

Cravings: Pickles! I had to stop at the store the other day to get sliced pickles and pickle spears. I'm kicking myself for not getting gerkins. I frequently make pickle sandwiches (just sliced pickles on bread). I think I officially grossed Jason out when I told him about my pickle, onion, and mustard sandwich. I think pickles ease my stomach because they make my nausea go away for a little while.
Food Aversions: Chicken and potatoes. For some reason potatoes have started hurting my stomach.
Symptoms: Frequent trips to the restroom and nausea. Zofran caused me too many issues, so I'm no longer taking it. I also had some serious round ligament pain the other night.
Movement: I'm wondering when I'll start feeling movement. I have an anterior placenta so I'm guessing some time around the 20th week, but I'm hoping I feel something sooner.
Gender: The ultrasound tech made a guess at our NT scan, but I'm not telling what she guessed until it's official. Sorry Amanda ;-)
Name: So much for having an official list after the Thanksgiving break. Maybe the Christmas break?

What I'm enjoying this week: I think I'm going to tell everyone on facebook this week. I put a Santa hat on the ultrasound from the NT scan and will post it as our Christmas picture (I'm not sure though because I think it might look a little freaky).
What I'm looking forward to: Being so close to the second trimester! Some people count it at 12 weeks, but I think I'm going to count it at 13 weeks 3 days just to be safe.
