This is my first post on Baby Trimble’s blog. We found out on Friday (10-7-11) that we were expecting our first baby! I took the test 9 dpo in the afternoon and got a strong positive (no squinting involved). On Monday I had blood work and my hCG level was 184. For this pregnancy to have a chance of being viable that number should double every 48-72 hours. We just got the call today that my hCG level is 529!!!! (I was hoping/expecting something in the 360’s). My doubling time is every 1.3 days instead of the usual 2-3 days. The nurse asked if there was a chance that I released two eggs! We have our first ultrasound scheduled for 11-9-11 and I’m dying to find out how many babies we have! Never in my life have I been so excited.
One last little detail, our expected due date is 6-22-12 which is 11 years to the day that Jason and I went on our first date! I think that is so special. I'm sure the date will eventually be adjusted, but I hope it doesn't change. :-)
