How far along: 5 weeks!
Size of the baby: An apple seed
Size of the baby: An apple seed
Total weight gain/loss: -4 pounds. I lost another 2 pounds this week putting me at a total loss of 4 pounds.
Cravings: The other day I was dying for this shrimp dish my mom makes, Avery Island Shrimp, and olives. I used to hate olives up until 6 months ago. I'm hoping she can make me this for my Birthday. :-) Also, the smell of people grilling steak is amazing and I don't like steak. I thought that was funny.
Food Aversions: None. Although I wanted to die when Jason suggested I eat some greek yogurt on an empty stomach the other day.
Symptoms: I'm tired every day now, although it's managable. My chest is still sore and nausea has set in.
Movement: It will be a long time until I feel movement.
Gender: I still refer to this baby as a he, but now I think it could be a girl again. The chinese gender chart says boy, but most of the other old wives tales that are applicable at this point say girl.
Name: Still going by sweetpea for now. We haven't put anymore thought into names, but before we got pregnant this was our name list.

Emerson Kate
Georgia Britton
Boy:
Nolan Reed (or Nolan Lee)
Owen Reed
What I'm enjoying this week: Telling the in-laws we're pregnant! I'm also enjoying feeling more symptoms. I'm sure I'll regret saying that at some point, but for now it's comforting.
What I'm looking forward to: This week our babies heart starts beating. I'm anxious to make it out of this week because I feel like it's a critical time. Mostly, I'm looking forward to the ultrasound in 2 and a half weeks.
