Eeek!!!! We’re telling my parents tonight! I am so stinking excited to be telling them. I’ve been avoiding talking to my mom because the first time we talked on the phone after we found out we were pregnant I almost lost my resolve. My mom has been so supportive while we were struggling to conceive and requested that we tell her right away – she didn’t want to be surprised.
I really want to respect that, but at the same time I have been dreaming of surprising them with a pregnancy announcement. Now that we know this isn’t a chemical pregnancy, I’m ready to share the good news. We’re heading over to their house tonight for dinner and we’re bringing this bottle of wine that we had made earlier today. I’m hoping that they do actually read the label instead of just glancing over it. I’ll update later with their reactions. J
